Battery Cleaner with Acid

I. Product Description
CRC® Battery Cleaner with Acid Indicator cleans battery cases, connectors, terminals, hold downs and carriers.
Its water-soluble formula is designed to remove corrosion quickly and economically while neutralizing acid. It easily
identifies acid leaks by turning from yellow to pink.

VI. Directions
Shake can well before using.
Spray liberally over battery surface and all corroded areas.
Do not spray into battery cells.
If any acid is present, foam will turn to pink.
Allow CRC® Battery Cleaner with Acid Indicator to soak for a few minutes.
Use wire brush to remove heavy deposits on terminal or protectors.
Flush with water.
Reapply to ensure that all acid has been removed and rinse again.
Wipe dry with cloth or paper towel.
For extended protection, spray clean terminals with CRC® Battery Terminal Protector #05046.

VII. Disposal

conformance with local, state, and federal regulations.
VIII. Special Use Warnings
Aerosol Cans
Do not puncture, incinerate or store above 120F. Exposure to high temperatures may cause can to burst. Do not
place in direct sunlight or near any heat source. Aerosol cans will conduct electricity. Keep away from all live
electrical sources including battery terminals, solenoids, electrical panels and other electronic components. Failure to
observe this warning may result in serious injury from flash fire and/or electrical shock.
General
Use only in well ventilated area. Ventilation may be improved by opening a window or door or providing mechanical
assistance. Avoid continuous breathing of vapor and spray mist. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If ventilation is
