Event/ Activity Name :- Inter college Poster Presentation Competition on “Digital India”

Venue :- Shree Ramkrishna Institute of Computer and Applied Science, Surat
Aim/purpose: The intercollege poster presentation competition on “Digital India” was organized by
the Department of Computer Science to encourage the student to come up with innovative ideas in
the field of Information Technology.

Details of the event/ activity: The competition was organised for FYIT students of Computer Science
department. The event commenced by introducing judges and participants by Dr. Charmy Patel and
Ms Shweta Bhatia.
The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students.
The theme of the competition was “Digital India”. Students were asked to express their ideas through
paintings, sketches and many more. Students displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters
with immense enthusiasm and made beautiful posters which described how technology can help
society in various sectors and also help in rapid economic growth and citizen empowerment across
the globe. All poster’s theme describes that how digital technology can empower every citizen with
access to digital services, knowledge and information.
All posters were evaluated by our judges from various BCA colleges- Ms Dipjaya Patel from Vivekanand
College for Advanced Computer & Information Science, Mr Kartik Thakkar from Smt. Tanuben & Dr.
Manubhai Trivedi College of Information Science, Mr Vimal Vaiwala from SDJ International College
and Ms Vibhuti Lilawala from Smt. Z. S. Patel College of Computer Application.
Judges had announced three winners group and one consolation prize. The Competition was
concluded by a vote of thanks given by Mr Jayesh Pustiwala.
The competition was a great success and memorable learning event for the students.
